Meet Craig Baird

Originally from Dunedin, Craig relocated to Auckland in 2012 to pursue a career with a prominent supply chain, logistics, and distribution company. Over his decade-long tenure, he showcased expertise in Sales, Business Development, Operations Management, and Branch Management roles.

Transitioning into recruitment, he seamlessly leverages his extensive background in senior management, offering invaluable insights into high-level recruitment processes. What distinguishes him is his adeptness at comprehending clients' needs, actively listening to their requirements, and effectively filling positions to meet their specifications.

What’s your favourite memory/story since starting at Lynx Recruitment?

​There has been a lot, but the team has been, and continues to be my favourite memories. A great bunch of like minded people, always up for a laugh and a very social bunch.

 

What sparked you to get into this role?

​It was a departure from my previous career path, yet the principles of recruitment resonate perfectly with my personality. Ultimately, the most fulfilling aspect of recruitment is the ability to assist and positively impact people's lives, motivating me each morning to rise and embrace the day.

What do you enjoy most about working at Lynx Recruitment?

​Building upon the earlier point, the individuals at Lynx are the true foundation of the company. The business's culture and composition are shaped by these individuals, each contributing to the dynamic in their own distinctive manner.

What's your favourite hobby?​

Anything sport, I’m mad about all things sport​
