Tell us a bit about yourself:
Originally from Ireland, I moved to New Zealand in 2018. I've been in recruitment for almost 4 years now and I absolutely love the industry. Prior to this, I had a background in sales and e-commerce, but I found my calling in recruitment, particularly in the construction and electrical industries. I'm proud to have successfully placed staff in some of New Zealand's largest and most iconic projects, and have helped candidates find rewarding careers. What sets me apart from other consultants is my deep knowledge of the industry and my commitment to treating staff with respect and fairness.
What’s your favourite memory/story since starting at Lynx Recruitment?
My favoruite memory would have to be playing darts with the team in the old office. Whenever we needed a break from the desk, we'd head to the dart board for some mild competition and lots of laughs. We still do this now, and I'm sure there will be many more fun memories to come.
What sparked you to get into this role?
I wanted to work for a company where I could focus on what I love doing without feeling pressured by others. I'm passionate about recruiting and I always strive to be the best. Lynx Recruitment has allowed me to do just that, while also being fair, motivating and rewarding beyond my expectations.
What do you enjoy most about working at Lynx Recruitment?
The team is what I love most about working at Lynx. They're genuinely the best group of people I've ever worked with and I feel lucky to wake up each morning excited to come to work. We strike a great balance between having fun and being serious when we need to be.
What's your favourite hobby?
I have a few favourite hobbies - surfing, motorbikes, mountain biking, and socialising with my friends.
What's an interesting fact about you?
Well, for starters, I'm 6'6" and have red hair! But more interestingly, I put butter AND mayonnaise on my sandwiches.
"excellent communication, helpful, confident, positive, honest, professional, understanding"
