Simon Vaughan

In the earlier days, Simon commenced his career as a sales and technical installer, where he gained valuable experience across the construction industry, contracting to some of New Zealand’s largest security providers. He then moved to Australia, where he continued to hone his skills in similar domains. 

 

Simon returned to New Zealand with his family, where he embarked on his recruitment career, initially serving as a generalist recruitment consultant. With over a decade of experience in the recruitment industry, Simon has successfully placed hundreds of professionals in their respective fields. 

 

What do you enjoy most about working at Lynx? 

  

The people – they’re awesome! The opportunity that’s available and being able to specialise. 

 

What’s your favourite memory/story since starting at Lynx? 

 

Lynx birthdays and recognition evenings are great occasions. Also trying to beat all my colleagues in table tennis and dart games. 

 

What's your favourite hobby?  

 

I like to frequent the swimming pool for fitness a couple of times a week and enjoy the odd game of darts with friends along with watching sports. Beyond that, I cherish family time, supporting their sporting endeavors.
